Dariana Salgado Martínez, 16, now in the second year of Prepa at “Fundación Don Bosco”, Tilzapotla. The mission she has is to grow as a person of value and better herself. The aim is to finish studies, and help support her parents. Even if the results are small she can grow them and be worthy of the support she is receiving. She has many dreams to try and fulfill.

Gabriel Araujo Nava, 15, his home is in Guerrero where 8 of the family live in a small house. His father works in the fields and his mother, a housewife, and grandparents are giving him the chance to study in Don Bosco Tilzapotla. Due to the distance he can only get home once every two months or so and he misses the family and friends a lot. He is tankful that the family has enough food, and on graduation he wants to follow the career of veterinary.

Juan Carlos Gomez Vargas

Juan Carlos Gomez Vara is 16 and has a clear mission to continue his education to become a teacher of Physical Education. He has seen enough of poverty and low paid jobs that do not pay enough to provide a very basic living. He is very happy at the school and appreciates the quiet ambience and has a clear vision of his Graduation Certificate in his hands.

Rosa Maria Mendiola Barrera

Rosa María Mendiola Barrera is 16 years old. Her family is made up of mother, sister and stepfather. Her mother is a housewife and stepfather is a farmer who does not earn much but helps with school expenses. Rosa Maria also works to help with costs of living. Her mother is due for an operation in November. She is really impressed with the school and feels that she will get out the school the effort that she puts in. Finishing Prepa and continuing to study at University level is her goal and she would like to be a lawyer

Daniela Espinosa Araujo

Daniela Espinosa Araujo, 15, is one of 8 children, whose parents need income as resources are so few. The parents decided to support one of the children getting Prepa education and a career and it is Daniela. Neither of the parents had the opportunity to study. She really likes and enjoys the school of Don Bosco in Tilzapotla.

Diego Cantor Pineda

AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY OF HIS COMPUTER, OSCAR WAS ILL WITH DENGUE AND HIS MOTHER COLLECTED HIS COMPU, Diego Cantor Pineda, 16, wants to go to the University and is studying in Don Bosco Tilzapotla. He has 3 brothers and they live with their parents. What the father earns is not enough to make ends meet. Diego works on Saturdays and some evenings to help the family finances. He wants to make the family proud of him as the alternative assisted Prepa study in Don Bosco is going to work at a low paid job now.

Daniel Colín Taboada as 15 years old. His parents earn money by selling potatoes and chicharrones at fairs. His mission is to get an education so that he can help the family get out of a trap of having to rent and move constantly, by providing a house. He sees himself studying and becoming a chef.

Samuel Mauricio Catalan Saavedra

Samuel Mauricio Catalán Saavedra is 16 years old, currently studying at Juan Bosco, Tilzapotla. He lives with his grandmother and my father who have taken care of him from a very young age. He has a sister and two brothers who are also
studying. His father is an electrician and he would like to do the same type of work or be an architect be like him or an architect to help family. He enjoys studying and using computers and the new technologies, the students are very respectful and he gets on well with his classmates

Carmen Melissa Diaz Abarca

Carmen is 15 years old and lives with with her brother and parents. She has four more siblings who for economic situations live and work In the United States, Carmen walks to Don Bosco High School every day to save the bus fare since the financial resources provided by her family members are small but as both parents work, so she assumes responsibility for her younger brother, preparing meals while the parents work.
