Visit to 2 Don Bosco Schools

The visit is to the rural school in Tilzapotla, close to the border with Guerrero, about 50 minutes from Cuernavaca.  We will meet with the final year students, all of whom are receiving or have received help in the form of Becas and computers, and who will graduate in July.

We will leave Cuernavaca about 9.30 and stop for a light breakfast at the Secondary School which has more than 400 students and arrive at Tilzapotla about 12.30. There, the students can meet their sponsors and we can see how the rural schools work. After that visit we will stop at 4 Vientos for lunch.  This venue is clean, quick, very popular, and is famous for cecina, everything fresh and prepared ‘en el momento’, returning to Cuernavaca between 5 and 6pm.

We expect the transport to be an Anti Covid equipped bus and Charlie Goff the guide with an impressive knowledge of Mexico and Morelos.  The very reasonable cost will be shared equally.  The trip is open to all, with priority given to donors, but we expect that there will space available, and we will make space if you are a prospective supporter!
